8000 people die every day.
The time to act is now.

We are health professional students dedicated to creating a local, regional, and national network focused on advocating for the fight against the global AIDS pandemic. We believe that HIV/AIDS is one of the most important health-related issues in today's world and that the fight to prevent, treat, and control the disease grows every single day.

Let's work together to fight this global crisis.

We believe that awarenesss in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatement, and education is so critical that we continue to elect an AIDS Coordinator each year to sit on our Executive Board. This individual is reponsible for working with our campus' Student Global AIDS Campaign, along with developing programming in combination with other area organizations, such as the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland and The Free Clinic.

AIDS is the world’s fourth leading cause of death.

Since first being reported in 1981, AIDS has killed over 25 million people.

AIDS killed an estimated 3 million people in 2006 alone.

Some events we have planned for 2007-2008 include:

  • Dr. John T. Carey Memorial AIDS Walk
  • World AIDS Day
  • AIDS-related movie night
  • STATS: Students Teaching AIDS to Students
  • Global AIDS Week of Action
  • Case's AIDS Benefit sponsored by Student Global AIDS Campaign
  • HIV Counseling at The Free Clinic of Greater Cleveland
