Q: How often do you hold meetings?
A: General Body Meetings are held on the FIRST thursday of each month. The Executive Board meets every two weeks to ensure programming is in order for the general body meeting. Executive Board meetings are closed to the general body, unless an invitation is sent by the presidents. General body meetings are open to ANY interested individual, regardless of whether they have paid dues.
Q: How can the organization issue proclamations for various events? A: Proclamations for various events or organizations are made by vote of the Executive Board. If the proclamation is approved by the Board, it is then encompassing of ALL members of the Case AMSA chapter. Generally, proclamations are issued for specific-themed weeks (such as the National Public Health Week) or our supporting organizations (such as with the One Campaign, which draws attention to AIDS and poverty).
