Premedical Library
(Putting Important Resources at Your Fingertips)

In late April 2008, the AMSA Premedical Library will officially open at the Health Sciences Library at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

What's at the library?

Books, CD-ROMs, flashcards, and other materials focused on preparing for the MCAT Exam, reviewing key science concepts, writing a personal statment, interviewing, research, career options, and much more

Who can use the library?

Any student with access to the HSL at Case SOM can use the library. The AMSA library is open the same hours at the HSL library.

Can I check materials out?

Materials placed in the library are for reference only. You can use the books for as long as you want, make copies, or use them to study...but they must remain inside the library. We encourage students to stop in and use the books between classes, in the evening, or whenever your schedule permits.

Who decides what books go into the library?

Books come from a variety of sources. Some are donated, while others are purchased by AMSA.

Where is the library located?

The library is located within the HSL on the first floor. The library's website can be found here.
